Handloom weaving is a traditional craft that reflects the skill, dedication, and creativity of male artisans. The process begins with yarn preparation, dyeing, and winding, followed by loom setup and warp arrangement. Skilled weavers then manually operate the handloom to create beautiful fabrics with traditional and modern designs. After weaving, the fabric undergoes finishing and quality-checking processes. Through their craftsmanship and hard work, male artisans from Godda and Sahibganj in Jharkhand preserve traditional weaving techniques while supporting rural livelihoods and the growth of the handloom sector.
